B14 rear disc brake conversion
Why can't I find anything solid on this?

I have AD22VF fronts. I have the rear beam, brake lines, p10 calipers, and need to get some e-brake cables.

I guess I really just need to know what exactly is required, and what calipers fit. I mocked up the p10 calipers on the new beam and it doesn't look like they'll work due to the e-brake cable brackets. I'd like something larger than stock, but am uncertain about the a32's based on happynole's thread. From that thread, it shows them being larger than the AD22 fronts, and I don't want that.

Any help is appreciated.

On a B14, the rear disc calipers, rotors, lines and braking cables from a 95-99 A32 Maxima or Infiniti I30 are a direct bolt-on. The maxima rotors are just under 11" and 9mm thick.

On a B13, use the calipers from a 92-94 Maxima (you have to re drill rotors though)

The bore size is more important than rotor diameter. That impacts the hydraulic system and the master cylinder. No one will say "omg are your rear rotors 3/4 of an inch larger up front?!??!"

I already know what works on a B13, I was just wandering about my B14. I assumed that the p10 rears that I had would work, but when I mocked one of them up on the new swingarm, I noticed that the ebrake bracket won't work.

I bet 80% of the braking in a FWD car is in the front. Why mess with the rears? Heavy track use?

I know the offset is different so even the caliper for a P10 would not fit there.

I'm converting the whole car over to SE-L, and I was wanting to do a "big break" upgrade. Like p10/j30's on the rear for a B14.
