Dipstick popping out..
Went in the morning and popped the hood and there was oil all over the engine bay.... cleaned it up and tried to have it happen again and all seemed fine.. I took it for a drive and MORE oil everywhere... Started revving it up and noticed the dipstick is popping out... So I text Andres and he tells me what I knew was a good possibility but didn't want it to happen to my engine, Blow by due to worn rings... The thing about this is, I had popped my hood last night and it was clean and everything, when I got my battery tested from kragens, then I drove about 40 miles and apparently it started to happen then... Only thing I've recently done is the side gap spark plugs.
Compression is

They aren't perfect but they aren't bad either... I can't go anywhere without having the dipstick popping out...

So is this a common thing with our cars?

Also, not sure if this matters but I have a vacuum leak that I can't seem to pin point.. Maybe this relates to the issue?

No, it's not a common issue with a properly functioning PCV system. Your compression numbers look great, so I'd suspect a PCV issue.

For an overview of the stock system and how it should operate, check out here: http://www.sr20-forum.com/all-motor/34413-crank-case-ventilation-fully-explained-naturally-aspirated-edition.html

You could have had a hose disconnected when they tested the battery that never got re-connected. A picture of the right side of your engine bay could help us help you.

Is the hose circled in red still attached to the port circled in blue? Is the hose kinked in any way that would hinder air flow?

You sure? Because if it is attached, you shouldn't see any of that gold colored pipe in the blue circle.
