actually, i asked mike about the idea of doing it because i saw that he had put the brembo HUGEbk on his evo. then he immediately offered his to me and thought it would be a really neat idea.

i have the solution for you! it's called the p11/b15 tranny . no but really, i have mine shotpeened and cryotreated and it has taken 350whp all day every day like a champ. but we'll see how it holds up to 550whp

absolutely did not take this as a downer. i really appreciate your input. i'm 18 and i need argument and advocacy in one way or another to keep me in line . the brakes would be really neat to have, but as people stated it seems that there are many things i overlooked in my original design theory. and that is exactly why i posted this thread to begin with; peoples input so i know exactly what the project would need before i set off doing it.

They are one of the most important things on a car. If it was me I'd use the money toward track time. I know you have the race car.

i don't think it would take too much to engineer. provided it could be fitted without any drastic measures, i would most likely use the fastbrakes bracket for my base measurements and design something on solid works for the right dimensions after that, then send it to a machine shop to have it made. i would anticipate the first set and MAYBE the second would be off just a tad so the cost would lie in having to redo it.

you all have contributed greatly to the clutter in my head (not in a bad way) and once i sort it out, i will let you guys know whether i decided to go forward with it or not.

this is one of the things that discouraged me to do this. my primary reason was to have the rear brembos to really just set the look of the car off.

^^^ lol, he has about 500hp already, his car is pretty stripped, he already has a Cyro treated B15 trans, he's also getting a MSB and some other stuff custom made. I can see he's bored and want to play with stuff, I'm all for it do it and have fun!

unless you can figure out how to mount the 300zx parking brake drum inside the rear rotors, it's going to be a task!

Wait your saying your b13 trans is shot/cryo'd? oR you have a b15 shot /cryo'd?

Ah ok. Becoming harder to find those trannies now though, and also going for more money. . Shame there isn't a reliable way to make the b13 trans hold up.

Get racing SQD stopp ffffing around.
