its a stage 3 and I'm just going off what the guy told me.. He said there was a "new" stage 3 clutch in it but I'm not so sure how "new" it was lol Learn how to drive manual properly? I can drive manual perfectly fine and never ride the clutch... I've shifted hard at least twice every single day since I got it which was on valentines day last year hence why I say I drive it very hard..

Bro, I watched your vids and read your "Shift Technique" thread. You may gain a tenth of a second by "speed shifting", but you're loosing thoose gains by holding your shifts 'til after say 6400-6800 rpms. Max horsepower (140) in a stock DE happens at 6400 rpms, which means there's less before AND less after that. Max torque in a stock DE (132) happens at 4800 rpms which means there's less before AND less after that. You will loose power/time and possibly the race eveytime you shift after 6400-6800 rpms.

I'm not trying to bust your balls, but I think your fancy shifts at/or after redline are partially at fault for the clutch only lasting 20-25k. My grandmom used to say (yell) as she shaked her fist at the people passing her "Slow down, you'll live longer!"

And I'm the one that yells back "No way I'd rather know I lived a fun life" heh and ok, CAI / header / catback = higher rpm. If you were to shift @ 6400-6800 you would be @ 4k and I can bet money on it that you'll be slower than at redline. It all depends on how much HP your @ when your @ red line compared to what your @ when you shift into the next gear. Go look at a dyno chart of a slightly modded sr20de and you'll see that its more of a benifit to shift at the redline because for 1 less time is spent shifting and your getting more mph out of each gear and 2 the hp is higher than when you shift

When I say I drive hard, I mean that I drive hard. I launch it a bunch of times, I go into all the gears quick, everything... I.... Drive... Hard.... That's why my clutch went out. I don't baby my car like oh noes its going to break! I know stuff is going to break and I'm prepared to fix something that goes wrong with it since I have the knowledge and tools to do anything I need to my car.

Now can I get some help with which clutch to choose?

A car driven hard properly will last longer than a car driven hard improperly. My guess for your driving style is the latter. I know plenty of people who have gotten double the clutch life out of their rides who drive "hard". My original clutch had 50K on it when I replaced it for a stronger unit and it still had plenty of life left even with numerous auto X's, track days and during my younger years nights drag racing at the local cruising spot.

Well teaching the dates how to drive stick shift didn't help it's life much haha I have no clue how many miles it actually had on it i'm just guessing by what the guy told me but eh... See the thing is, I'm not asking why my clutch went out.. I'm just asking for opinions on what new clutch to get in my price range
Any help is appreciated

What's the difference between
NEW HD COMPLETE CLUTCH KIT FULL ORGANIC DISC 2.0L 1.8L - eBay (item 170589070745 end time Feb-08-11 19:18:10 PST)

and

NEW HD CLUTCH KIT 1991-01 NISSAN SENTRA 2.0L SR20DE - eBay (item 170586057068 end time Feb-01-11 20:03:10 PST)

Other than the price? The first (cheaper) one says it fits a nx2000 All 2.0L and 200sx 2.0... So common sense would say that its going to fit fine?

I just remembered how I put a stock clutch on my civic and how it felt.. It performed good and I pretty sure I'm going to go with that considering my budget.

Get a genuine OEM Nissan unit. Mine is 19 years old and has 112K on it.

While that does look very tempting its just too much money considering buying both of those would be a whole check for 2 weeks
I'm really strapped on cash and was looking for something under 140 or so..
