probably not "missing" the wire.....my dizzy only has one wire also. according to jgy's website, some have 2, some have one. dont know but my car is th same way.
timing is off. back that dizzy up! ALSO, check your tps voltages. they most likely didnt set the tps properly when they switched it for you. they probably advanced the timing to compensate.
