Thread: Coolant temp sensor

So I just replaced my coolant temp sensor (2 wire) and did some testing on the old one.
After doing this I should of done testing with the new one as well.
But I think its a lil out of wack, it definitely doesnt follow the "curve" of the line.

which is the blue dots

the pink dots are what i measured.

they seem ok except the low temps

i think so too. for as cold as i could get the sensor, the resistance didnt climb as much as i would expect it to based off what the FSM says it should be
