Thread: How much would you pay for this NX?

Okay first off sorry, but don't have any pics. This is a car I tried to buy a few weeks ago. The guy wants $1800. It's still for sale, so I offered $800 again. The body is crap. Major rust coming through by the wind sheild and rear fenders and hatch. Interior is trash and looks to have been in a front end wreck. It drives, but with a loud thumping noise coming from the front or rear. I couldn't tell because it was to loud, lol. You almost need a hammer to knock the shifter into gear it's so stiff. The only good about it is it's VVL...SR16VE I'm to believe because of the red top, not black. I've had it to about 8700 RPM's. It's really fast, but feels like it's going to fall apart. And the wipers are wired on fast with a toggle switch, lol. I laughed my ass off on the way home. Basically it's a real POS with a good engine to me. Probably take another $3500 to get it right.

Well 1000 would be fair cuz of the vvl.

I can get a VVl from a JDM distributor in Atlanta for $800 with 40-60k miles and a 6 month warr. I recently met a guy that knows the person that sold the nx to the person that is selling it now. Apparently it's a well used vvl, aside from the fact the seller told me he's always racing around town.
