I had a chance to drive Daryl's (dphillipsB13) car with the Z33 seats. I absolutely loved them. They could sit a bit higher, but otherwise they are comfortable, supportive, and look great. If you have the chance to pick up a set cheaper than the standard choices, I highly recommend them.

On a side note, Daryl was kind enough to give me a used Corbeau seat, wide version too so it fits my fat ass Hopefully I will get it in soon and I can post up some pics

Good looking seats everyone!

And these just bolted right up to the stock seat rails? See THAT is what I am looking for. In my SE-R, i used NX rails and it lowered the stock seat. NOW, i have an NX and there is no real factory option to lowering the seat. IF these bolt right up to the stock rails and they lower the seating position, I am as good as sold.

Anyone interested in a set of APC like racing seats? Black and gray, $200/pair OBO.

I'm not sure, serboi posted a corbeau seat and then he said they bolted up to the stock rails...I'd like some sort of confirmation on the 350Z seats as well..

Yeah, I saw that post. I'm more interested in the 350z seats myself.

Wont work. Toss them in the trash. I used the rails from the z33 to mount them in my car. They did not match up to any oem holes. But I figured it out and got them mounted. It was a very difficult upgrade but if youre determined to get it done, you'll succeed.

I'm not gonna make a whole write up on how cause 1 it was a long time ago and I dont remember everything I did, and 2, I had NO help mounting mine. I just figured it out myself.

I also have a bit more pics and info ofthe install in my build thread.

Tip: if you are gonna grind and weld inside your car. Cover your windows. You'll regret it if you don't.

For Corbeau seats. The seats by themselves won't bold to anything in the car. But Corbeau makes brackets to adapt their seats and sliders to most makes and models.

They'll work fine if you're a skinny little guy. I can bend the frames with my hands...

But a frame to adapt a "universal" seat to the stock mounting points is really quite simple to do. It was the first thing I ever welded.

I applaud your ingenuity, but it sucks for me. I don't weld and I know that places make brackets for seats.. but I have heard that the sets will sit at stock height, and sometimes even higher than stock, which is not what I want. I've got very little headroom in the NX as it is. I figured if the 350z seats bolted to the stock sliders/brackets, i could adjust the seat height vie the knobs.

I found a set of WRX seats locally, but I know that those are side mounted seats, and our sliders are bottom mount. Has anyone heard of/tried welding points onto our stock sliders in order to mount a WRX side mount seat?
