Thread: my car vibrates alot.

hey guys for some reason in every gear when throttle is apply i get a serious vibration on my steering wheel, i was thinking its the axles but i dont believe it is. you guys have any idea what can be causing this?

Pass motor mount, or just mootr mounts in general, also check and make sure your axle nuts are tight all the way.

hmmm well all the mounts on my car has polyurethane inserts beside the rear mount on the crossmember, prob is that?

Yea check your axles out, have you done any work to the car recently? When did this start?

no nothing in a while, i dont have OEM axles so i dont have the rubber bushing in the middle of the axles. this bin going on for a while but now it have gotten worst.

I would check your spindles out. Sounds to me like wheel bearings.

but dont wheel bearings make like a wo wo wo noise when its bad?

Not necessarily. My wheel wobbled like crazy....Easy check is just jack up the car. Put your hands at 12 and 6. Rocking back and forth. And 3 and 9...wobble. If there is play.. then that is your issue. Just make sure you do both wheels. If not.. check your lug nuts and strut bolts.

yeah i would say wheel bearings or a whorped rim. u probably hit a bad pot hole and bent the rim just enough to make it vibrate. also check ur tires in the inside to see if theres any bubble or bumps on the tire. that can cause it too

axles.. for sure.. get oem rebuilds or something.. an i bet it stops..
