Shhhhiiiiittt! I had to cut mine completely off. I got to the point where I didn't even care about the knob anymore that it pissed me off that I just sawed right though it and got to the plastic part that the knob was molded to. Then the glue on the threads was a whole new story.

Do yourself a favor.. get a B&M or pacesetter if you can find one. One... it's better than stock and two, you won't go though the trouble that some of us have. Just my 2.

Did anyone with a low port have to take the mani off to get the V brace out? I know I did because I couldn't get it our from under the car. After my head swap is when I pulled it. And man was it a heavy POS.

You don't have a 200SX (don't argue with me on this one ) you have a Sentra.

Shift knob........

A towell wrapped around the shift knob and a pair of chanel locks works wonders.

Or, just man up on that bitch and show it who's boss.

It wasnt that hard for me

I like the oem se-r knob with the B&M shifter. Best combo imo.

i drilled a hole in my shifter and put a metal rod threw it side to side and used an inner tierod tool pipewrench. shit worked like a charm...and for future reference the knock sensor is the same on a highport and a lowport.
