Clutch fork question
My clutch fork cracked at the base of the arm. I was wondering if it's possible to weld it up? I have read some people add a piece of steel to it for strength.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Thanks!

If you weld it up and grind down the welds I don't see why not

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Do you have any idea what it's made of? I'm guessing some sort of steel, nothing crazy.

Just bend it back and weld a piece of steel to the top. Mine held like that until I pulled everything out a year later and put a hydraulic clutch in it.

If it is just weld it... I had a friend come out, weld it and reinforce it too. Not the prettiest but it works again and I'm not freezing in a shop pulling the tranny or paying someone else to replace it.
