Thread: Silverstars

I had the Silverstars in all my other car, they were free so I can't complain. also it can not be compared to HID, it's not that bright.

I tried them and I didn't see a difference between stock and silverstar, can someone post a pic showing a difference?

Silverstars are awesome, I have had them and they are bright and a nice whitish light, way whiter than stock. But at least for me they burn out too often, and I installed them with gloves on (you are not supposed to touch them with your fingers). Then when one goes out you have to get another silverstar because if you put a stock bulb in there it looks mismatched, and the silverstars are expensive.

I had silverstars, they were way too bright, so then I just bought regular ones and they were not as bright but twice as cheap

If you want brighter lights, your headlight ground might be bad... reground em and you might see some improvement

Here's mine. Kind of have a blue hue to them, but only from the sides and for a little bit from the time you turn them on.

i had silverstars in my first f150. I could not tell much of a difference in the before and after though.

Has anyone compared the Silverstars to the Silverstar Ultras?

I've got silver star ultra's in the Volvo. Love them over stock. They have a nice blue hue, as you said:

if i drive someone elses car, i feel like im blind, as the silverstar ultra's light up the road so much. like twice as much over stock. its rediulous. like, if i'd driving behind someone that is about a car and a half ahead of me, and my head lights light up the road past theirs. not vertically like height, but on the road.

Just installed mine, probably put the old ones back in and get a night shot of stock vs silverstars, and 1 in each.
