Do you know what EMS stands for? You already have an EMS. Saying you're "going to with an EMS" is generic and doesn't tell us which EMS you're going to go with. Just FYI.

Engine Management System, I'm not completely special bus material :P

Like I said earlier, I've been looking into AEM, v2 to be specific.
AEM EMS - Series 2 - JDM parts: Honda, Toyota, Nissan - Japanese aftermarket and performance car parts

edit- I now see what you're giving me crap about, lol. "Programmable" EMS. Is that better? lol, I just assumed everyone here would know what I was talking about from the start.

Also have a 7" flip out touch screen, that I want to look into running my netbook on via clamshell mode for on dash tuning.

I've considered similar setups. It would be a real nice thing to have.

I'm actually about to get dressed and go do some ignition tuning myself. =P

Yeah, I think I'll be jumping the gun on it. The price seems high, but to get each box for specific things I'd be spending almost as much anyways.. JWT, 2 step, boost controller (I'm N/A now but t04e going in this winter), etc.

If you're serious of the netbook thing you might consider getting the Series 2 AEM EMS as it has a USB connection in addition to the older RS-232 serial port connection. I know you could always use a serial-to-USB cable to work with the older Series 1 but sometimes you can buy adapter cables that have troubles, or sometimes the settings in Windows aren't right to work with the cable, or other stupid problems can arise. I am great with computers, but I hate dealing with serial port com errors when I'm just trying to tune my freakin' car.

Yes that is what I am looking at. I posted a link to it exactly. I think I wrote v2, but meant series 2 :x

Yep, you sure did. Stupid me for not reading close enough. I'm real excited it looks like AEM has kept the prices from rising much at all with their new box.

Yeah, Most sites they're actually the same price, as far as I can see. Been doing my reading and am 100% set on that is what i will be going with. No messing with chips or any of that nonsense.

Kind of excited, tax time needs to get here sooner. Though, the car will be parked 9/10 days now that winter is here anyways..
