Stopped to get fuel and would not start after.
So I pull into a local marathon to get some fuel and after I fueled up, I go to start the car like usual but only this time the starter wouldnt kick in. Everything else is working just fine but no starter.

I have a sr20det swapped 96 gxe sedan that I performed an auto to manual swap on. I have checked where I bypassed the inhbitor switch, checked all fuses related with the starting system, starter, connections in the harness and relays...still nothing.

It took me 3 hours before I could get someone to push my car on a downhill slope so I could dump the clutch to get it going again...I was even offering $20 if someone would just give the car a few feet of pushing lol....

people these days.

anyways back to the topic at hand...what would you guys suggest to look for?

Does it try to turn over at all? When this happened to me I happed to push my car backwards up a hill and hop on in and start it. Drove straight to AutoZone and bought a starter/solenoid combo and it worked perfectly. That would be my guess.

no it will not turn over at all. Everything else works such as fuel pump, everything needed for start up but the starter.

Of course it would do this after I finish the clutch job....

Not to be rude, but if my starter stopped working then the first thing I would check is the starter... My money is on that being bad.

can you push start it ? if it starts then yes i would assume it is somthing to do with your starter captain

Check to see if the starter relay is clicking on

When you try to start the car, does it just click? You also said that when you push started the car it started right up? It could either be a faulty starter or the starter could have just been in a bad spot. Regardless, the problem lies within the starter.
