Thread: Need help wit p1105 map/baro sensor

i need to know whats the damn map/baro and where it is located and how to fix it! tahnks

what car is this on?

We dont use a map/baro sensor on our sentras. Depending on the car determines where its at. Some are bolted directly to the intake manifold near the throttle body or somwhere on the plenum. Others are mounted on the motor with a vac line going to them or on the firewall with a vac line.

99 sentra se-l i already replace 3 sensors and i twont go away

I cant recall if the sentra se-l even has one. It could just indicate a vacuum leak somewhere thats being indicated instead of a fuel trim code being thrown. The map sensor should say map sensor on it and have a vac line straight from the intake manifold hooked to it.

what are you using to pull the code?

So it does have a map sensor after a quick search. Again check for vacuum leaks, cracked hoses and so on.

im wondering if its sayin map but meaning maf or something else ya know.. cause im pretty sure that no sr20's come stock with map sensors.. maybe im wrong?
