Thread: B14 heater core question

Can i remove the heater core and box with out removing the entire dash?

if you figure it out... let us know

I doubt it. You may be able to get enough access to it by removing the glove compartment and everything in the center. More than likely I'd say the dash will have to come out.

Fortunately, the dash is not incredibly difficult to remove on the B14.

I am pretty sure I pulled one out of a B14 at a junkyard without taking anything else out beyond the glovebox and the kick panel right below it. Give that a whirl. It will only take you about 20 minutes to do that and figure out if it is enough and then you know.

it comes out from the bottom you have to remove the heater core lines and then pull it out from the passenger side.

I have done a few of these , I have had to pull the dash on all of them , I dont think it can come out without pulling the dash ...!! At least in a B14 ...
