Forgive my ignorance, but I am guessing that is a magnetic oil drain plug?

Ouch.

Well, you have definitely junked something in the motor.

I don't want to see what the rod/crank looks like. That's about 100x more metal than came out of mine...

I just hope what ever it is... it's bottom end. Going to pull the valve cover and see if everything looks ok.

Oh man, sorry to see this. But yeah, if it happens to me I'll be quoting my girl the price of a VE to replace it. I know it's wrong but what they don't know won't hurt them. Lol.

So in the works right now just waiting on funds. Personally I have an header and short ram. And I found the MSD window switch for 120. Going to be a p11 ECU for now alone with my stock exhaust until tax season.

Your oil filter and oil pick-up screen are probably clogged to hell; so hopefully it didn't oil starve the head (the bottom end is definitely going to be scrap metal).

Well, I have a SSAC header, 2.5" exhaust, and Injen CAI. So yeah, I'd need an ECU and a rpm switch. Most likely a new clutch and other odds and ends as well.

Honestly, I would tell her straight up. Shit, she has purses that cost more than a VE. It's better than another car payment anyway.

Well I swapped out the filter with the oil change.. Made sure to fill it up and let the filter soak up as much oil as it could before mounting it. I can't do much for the screen unless I drop the pan. Just don't have the time or the will power to. And honestly... I don't plan on driving her much until the swap.

Only thing I'm worried about now is the head to sell. It's a port and polished job that I'm sure someone would love to have with out bent valves.
