yes sir,, just tap on it a few times with any luck it will start.. .

it worked for us

I'm sure this is just a sign of soon to be a failure so he's getting a starter when the funds come up.

stand at your driverside fender ,, look down under the intake where the starter is and you can see it (solenoid thats on top of starter) and tap on it,..

A burnt out dome light bulb caused a system-wide short on me once.

Well, what do you need to start a car? You have the ignition, clutch switch, starter, starter solenoid, battery, fuel, spark, air, grounds, what else? Just out of curiosity, if you have jumper cables hook one side of them to the engine and the other side to the body and see if that helps. I know you said you cleaned your grounds, but just in case and it is only a 5 minute deal. Are you getting spark? Are you getting fuel? How's the charge on your battery? All of those things are relatively easy to check. Did you remove every element of your push button starter rig? Did the starting issue begin right when you put that in? How about if you jiggle your keys in the ignition, does that help?

I'll try the jumper cable idea tomorrow. The car doesn't even crank so I haven't bothered to check for spark or fuel yet. Charge on the battery is good. I scrapped the push button start idea once I felt pretty sure the ignition switch was the problem. The starting problem began before the push button start idea. It actually started when the temperature got around or below freezin at night. If it is a ground issue i'm guessing a ground kit would solve my problem?
