Both had working A/C which is a big selling point to most people.
I would say your car was worth 6k 7k at the tops. Now take the car apart and you may make 10k.
Thanks for the compliments, though it wasn't anywhere as nice as I wanted it to be. Time ran out and I couldn't finish it the way I had envisioned it. For turn-key's sake, the car is/was worth 9~10K. This is all in perspective, though. It's all about what the buyer wants, and what the seller can agree to. (
It's worth as much as it's sold for...)
I still miss it from time to time. Just the raw power alone still gives me goosebumps

(sorry it's so small)
Agreed. They're worth more to an enthusiast, than a run of the mill driver.

of had something like 15-20k into it. Sad but true.
I still have a strong passion for these cars and wish I had more in my driveway.
Truth. In all honesty, if the presentation were better I would have seen more money. But if the presentation were there, it also would have fetched me another $5K in build cost, in my eyes. Another couple grand in pricetag, for the cost of $5K doesn't make sense to me anymore.
Believe me, if I had another option, I wouldn't have sold her, and I still would have bought something else to DD. I can't live in the past, though. I don't have any regrets thus far.
