Our cars may never be "mainstream" but that's part of what makes them unique, and to me that's a good thing.[/QUOTE]

Yep

A few cars I know of first hand that sold for a decent amount. I guess it all depends on what is done to the car and how bad the buyer wants it.

I was offered $3000 for my shell a few months back.

Yeah but if it wasnt priceless. You would have been making a killing. No shell is really worth that.
I do like your car and you should keep it though.

of had something like 15-20k into it. Sad but true.

I still have a strong passion for these cars and wish I had more in my driveway.

Glad to see someone see's things my way.
Maybe thats why we get along. You see things for what they are and tell it like it is.
Lou you have a really nice 200. Would you take 7k cash for it tomorrow?? I bet you would.

When I sold my last b13 for 6.5k I was so happy I laughed going to the bank and than went on vacation in the carribean.

I would not sell mine for 6.5k ....no where close ....I love my car , it is real hard to come up with what I would consider a fair price ....at this point I would be losing a large some of money , but that is not why we build them , we build them because we like to , not to sell them at a profit , if that is your intent , you picked the wrong type of car

Rodney your one of the coolest dudes I've met on this forum.

Thanks I appricate that.

Would I take 7k hmm... I would have to think about it but yep thats about what I would expect to see if sold. 7.5k and I would take it and put a down payment on a 370z. I would be loosing out but thats the nature of the game. I plan on dumping just under 2k on restoration and cosmetic work over the winter. Doesn't mean I'll get half of it back if I sell it after. And now I have a b15 I've been putting money into and the Suby payment doesn't help.

I was offered $4500 at the chicago convention after the car spun a bearing at the track. I ended dumping more then that just to put the car right and I still blew head gaskets days before the Omaha convention.

Thanks alot man. Yeah I remember that now. Joe and myself took rockers out of his nx motor and we thought it fixed it.
Whats odd is I am gonna spend about 2k myself to get my car looking nice again. Do you plan on going to the next convention??
