I know that in years past G20.net has done a Toys for Tots drive, but I haven't seen anything yet this year. I pm'd Jon and he was waiting to hear back from the local TfT rep before proceeding. I don't want to start a competition, but I feel we are running short on time. So I am going to jump in feet first on this one.

I have been in touch with TfT here in the Atlanta Metro area and they would be more than happy to receive our donation. Here's how this will work - I will accept donations via paypal from now thru Dec 13th. On Monday, Dec 13th, we will take however much has been collected and buy as many toys as we can. They will then be dropped off at the TfT collection office in Marietta. Anyone in the Atlanta area who want's to join in the fun on that Monday will be more than welcome to join us.

Just sent over $130! Lets get this rolling! I know times are tough for a lot of guys, but even a small donation of $5 will help put a smile on a kids face!

I have been in contact with Pat and Jon from G20.net over the last couple of days. Last year their local tft closed shop and they were left with money and nowhere to donate the toys. They are going to join with us this year. Let's get thing rolling!!

Many thanks to Joe for grabbing the ball and getting this rolling.

Unfortunately the local Toys for Tots in my area that we have donated in the past is not doing it again this year. As Joe mentioned, last year we were caught last minute with the same information and were unable to get the funds spent and toys donated. What we are going to do this year, is donate all the funds from G20.net's drive last year, and all the funds that we can raise this year.

Ill keep ya posted on the progress...

Awesome. Most of my charity donations go towards pets and animal causes.

However, I'm down to make kids happy.

Joe if you are keeping the 1st post updated with donations as well, I will keep my list updated with yours to keep a full tally.

We will be sending our prior years $1182 along with an additional $250 for this year. If we reach $1000 in NEW donations for the 2010 donation drive, G20.net will donate an additional $250! Also if it helps, anyone is welcome to use our PayPal address (toysfortots2010@g20.net), or cruise over to our thread and use the 'Donate' button, and G20.net will cover any and all incoming fees and will send over the bulk total on the 12th, just be sure to note your SR20-Forum username and advise that you are from this forum so we can keep the appropriate list updated =).
