Thread: bpt question..

I grabbed a vacuum tester and hooked it up directly to the EGR and it held ~25psi

I hook it up normally with it warmed up and the EGR doesn't move at all @ whatever rpm.

I get a check engine light that comes and goes.. Sometimes it turns off but its always for the EGR.

I know what they do but if the bpt is not working right the egr is neven going to open.

Maybe it is the EGR temp sensor?

So, if the EGR is not openning at idle or part throttle, does result in a rich AFR ?

I only have a code 32 on the check engine light, although I will have to check that with a ohm meter
