Amazing find with my SE-R!
So, I've had this car for a few weeks, sitting in my garage. I bought it dirt cheap, and it wasn't in too bad of shape with 140k miles in New England. With that in mind I just imagined it was all stock, and it has been sitting there. I went and got plates yesterday, and took it for my first drive since purchasing it today, and really got to playing around. First thing I notice, is that it is definitely faster than I had imagined. Second thing I notice after about a half hour of driving, was it was letting me rev to 8k! WEEEEEEE! I finally get it home, and some how just realize that the exhaust tip doesn't look stock either, so I climb under the ca and find what I assume is aftermarket, PaceSetter cat back . I don't know much about the exhaust, but it's not in too bad of shape, so win. As far as revving to 8K, it's got me thinking it has to have something other than a stock ECU? I'll be pulling that tomorrow and checking it out. Now I'm wondering what else has been done... I'll be pulling the VC off tomorrow to take a peak as far as that goes. Wish me lots of luck!

Sorry about the pic being upside down, oops.

Can anyone tell me anything about this exhaust? Or what else I should be pulling apart in the car to check out? Is this stock exhaust, if not, is it any good?

The cams will be hard to tell if they are aftermarket from my understanding. That's awesome though that you have mods on it haha I still don't know for sure if I have aftermarket cams or not.... Heh

Yeah from what I see they are pretty cheap. I'm more excited to see what I find out of my 8k rev limit

x2!!!!!!!!

My car came with one but it has a butt load of exhaust leaks I've had to weld up but it does add power.. What's up with the 2in exhaust? Isn't that small?

That's what I thought. It sounds great though, agressive but no fart can noise. But it will wind up being replaced with a 2.5+

Pace setter isnt the best brand but for the price you cant complain. You could always change the muffler out down the road and just re use the piping.

Their headers are decent, better than stock but in most casses the ebay one is better.
