HOW DO YOU check the tps?? i know you use a voltimeter , do you just poke into the wire?? if so which wire

volt meter has blck and red wire ...poke the red wire to the middle wire ont he tps and the other one on the blck wire at the tps also while key in ON position. readings should be .45ish and 4.0ish at WOT .

if i am not correct please feel free to correct me thank you in advanced

Leave the TPS plugged in and stick the voltmeter prongs through the slots in back where the wires enter, that is the way. Then you can move the throttle plate by hand with the key in on to see the voltages.
