Thread: what is this fuse?

Did you look at what wire is coming out of it? That is your answer right there....

Getting out to do ANY kind of work right now is a pain. Between the snow and freezing rain, and having no heater in my garage at the moment... I try to be as quick as possible pulling parts and bring them inside to work on them. Unfortunately, can't bring the whole car in to the basement :P

I wasn't able to figure out with FSM in hand what that fuse is doing, there is one under the hood too, you can easily remove 3 -4 fuses in your car and never know. Just as useful as the yellow 100Ohm resistor under the hood if you ask me.

It must have something to do with the ECU volatile memory and the Japanese not wanting to let you know.

For reasons unknown.

That one is under the hood. Still to this day do not have a fuse in it nor have I figured out what it is for.
