need help with rim and tire size that can fit on my nx
looking for a new set of rims and tires, been talking to brent (coach) in regards to what will fit.

im going off this thread http://www.sr20forum.com/2170790-post87.html and what adam has posted up.

with that being said, and from what coach told me in regards to tires size etc im thinking this will work.

15x8 http://www.diamondracingwheels.com/ProSeries.htm rim, not to bad their like 17 pounds, i like the aggressive but low key all business look
40 offset

tire size 225/45/15 or 215/50/15 or 215/45/15

brent says a 225/45 is the best performance wise.

they will be azeni's so im not sure the size of them as some tires end up being different sizes, and from ive been told azeni's run big.

so if anyone could shed some light on what tire size will not rub (nx with agx/hypercoil) it would be greatly appreciated. i wouldnt mind running spacers in the rear, but as far as running this rim and tire up front if it for some reason would rub inside, using spacers up front may make them rub the outside fender lip.

id also like any info regarding running say bfg drag radials on 2 rims depending on tires size and etc if that would work.

thanks guys ( i know i dont know **** about this stuff lol)

I am going with 17 x 7.5 wheels with 225/35/17 tires.

The guy at 949racing told me you can't fit 15x8's in the rear unless you cut fenders. This was on a b13 don't know if its the same on a NX

I would run a 215/50/15. My 225/50/15 clear, but its close, those wheels look like the same ones Lucas got on the turbo hatch

How wide are your rims and what is the offset of them.

ive had a hard on for those rims for yearssssss.

if 15x8 wont work then i guess ill go for 15x7.

anything is better at this point then my 14x6.5's lol.

my turbo car nx rims and azenis will go on the daily cause it needs tires, so the turbo nx gets some new rims .

Im sure you would need to roll your fenders and go with some big spacers if you went with the 215/50/15 (azenis). Its always been said that the 205 azenis are much closer to the 215 size. Mine fit perfectly using 1/4" spacers in the rear that I bought from pep boys but theres about | | that much space between tire and strut in the back. So if you ran 215's im thinking you will need to roll the fenders/and run larger spacers. As for the front you will probably just need to remove all the plastic fender lining to avoid that rubbing but not sure about spacers for the front. I say just go with 205's. The handling of a 8" wheel is amazing compared to a 6.5 or 7 and you will still have that fat ass look
