tranny issue???
Ok, iwas driving to work the other day and i felt some fall out from my axle(ball-bearing). My thought was ok i need to get a new axle.

well that was not the end, next i shut down the car when i got to work. I go to start the car and had some problems getting the car in gear without some excessive force. Once the car stopped again I had to litterally jam the car in gear and when I went to let go of the clucth it would launch forward and was completely undriveable.

Anybody have any suggestions on what it could be?
I am thinking first the axle, which probably wont turn because the ballbearings may be out, so may its binded, next and hopefully not the tanny is shot!

lmk what you guys thin

Clutch. My old prelude did the same thing when its clutch went bad. i forget which specific part of the clutch. i was 16 and continued to drive it as is for about 6 months until i finally got around to fixing it. putting it in either 1st or reverse with the car off, and turning the key and it would just launch. pulling it out of gear into neutral and shutting the car off and repeating at stop signs/lights. it was hell. yanking it into the right gears at the sweet spots..lol what fun.

My car isnt drivable, so I think it may be different.....I am taking it apart this weekend and buying a tranny to have just incase. If I dont need it aleast when I start hitting some high boost I will have a back up!

Well, mine shouldn't have been driveable either. seemed like the clutch was doing nothing at all lol. starting the car in gear made it just launch, and flooring the clutch pedal the clutch wouldnt even begin to show any sign of engaging lol. id have to jerk it out of gear and into the next with no clutch to shift, and jerk it out of gear to come up to stop lights and avoid the clunk clunk clunk of stopping the car without a clutch lol. stop sign = turn the car off, stick it back in first, turn the key and off we go lol.
