Flywheel bolts
Anybody know if the flywheel bolts from an auto trans is the same as the ones off a 5 speed? Also, does ARP make flywheel bolts for the SR20's?

DO NOT use the short ones!!.
They will come loose, and fly around in the bellhousing, causing major carnage....guaranteed.
GregV sells the correct ones if you can't find some used.

Yah and technically they are one-use (torque to yield) bolts I believe. You shouldn't re-use old ones. However plenty of us have done it without any issues.

ARP 254-2801 - ARP Pro Series Flywheel Bolt Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com

Get Ford bolts, they can be reused and can be torqued at 65ft lbs with ARP moly lube or 75ft lb dry

Yeah, I started a thread on it after I saw this older one because I am sure people have been stuck before. Summit has them as well as Autozone and anyone that carries ARP brand stuff so they are much easier to track down than a dealer item.

So these should actually be stronger than stock too, right?
I may pick up a set for the track project as a extra measure for durability/reusability
