Thread: Transmission identification help please

Iv been offered the following trans from a 2002 P11, can anyone tell me if this is the same as the P11 144 with 4.4 FD ?

2000-2002 P11 trans do not come with 4.4 FD. The P11 trans comes with 4.176 FD. This trans that you have a picture of also is not LSD.

Andreas, user is from Dublin so I suppose he's referring to the p11 144 model (no Primera came with LSD here).

Jonny, I can't help you It looks similar to my p11's (not 144) one.

Jonny... as I said to you on AOC... you're chasing chickens here.. the P11-144 Transmission (which I think this is) really dosen't have any gains over your existing trans. apart from its extra strength which you won't need anyway.
You need an N15 VZR or N15 VZR N1 Box dude if you're after an LSD.
They also come with good ratios.

Thanks Andreas, i was under the false impression that the UK P11-144 box was a 4.4FD but its not, I know the box pictured doesnt have LSD, in fact I already have LSD in the SR18 trans im running (i just wanted the shorter FD to swap into it but i was mistaken)

Yeah im chasing chicks alright , Looks like I will have to buy the VZR box a lad is selling over here, iv bargained him to €400 inc shaft which is not bad.(its not anyone from aoc by the way). But I have to find a buyer for my SR18LSD box first.....
