when you pulled the plugs were any (specifically #1) wet with gas? did you swap out the injectors or checked them for leakage?

good question. ya can on a b13, which is what i have, but your p11 may be a different story since it's obd2 with more electronic control, but you do have an old maf so may work just the same pulling the egr install the jdm intake, bypass egr, clear the codes and see what happens

check out g20.net, there is info on this and guys do it all the time

no kidding??? hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....

i started out on sr20forum, i'm on here too, this one is better so far

sure there's gotta be some write ups on the same motor here, but deleting the egr is not hard. just take a bunch of stuff off and plug the exhaust hole and maybe one more.

maybe this will help:

Is your MAF working properly? Any leaks on the air intake system?

Im guessing this car got some water in the maf from the storms we had lately. Also, heard aftermarket oiled filters can get oil on the maf wire. How did you put the b13 maf in the p11? I tried to put a p10 maf in my friends p11 and the connecters were totally different.

90% of the time "its the maf"

A few times before I have had the furthest extension of my cold air intake pipe fall off so all air intake would begin right at the MAF. It caused my car to surge violently.

That is why blackwater and I say MAF. Despite the fact that you changed it to the original, is the original one clean? Get some MAF cleaner and clean the wires themselves and clean the connections as well.
