Ouch.... That piece could do some damage... That looks like someone doesn't know how to gap the spark plug and kept bending it back and forth before getting it right.. I would guess that cylinder is probably pretty banged up.

Looks to me like it melted. Not sure how that would happen on a NA ve though.

Other than rougher sound and missfiring car runs still great.

What he should do now? Any ideas?

What is he using for engine management? Like Aaron said, it looks like melted, also pretty brown. He may be getting some serious detonaition. What did the other plugs look like?

A leakdown test should give you a pretty good idea if the headgasket, piston, or valves are damaged.

Well my questions is... Where in the hell is the missing piece?

Is it still in the head?

I would get a rotating head telescopic magnet and fish around.

It's probably still floating around in the combustion chamber. If you are unfortunate, it may be embedded into your piston head.

Calum Basic ECU with VE bin. I dont have pics of other plugs. They are plugs, which came with VE. I told him at first to replace them, he didnt listened to me.

Replace all the plugs and hope for the best. Keep an eye on how the engine performs.
