Throttle cable issues
Im having some issues with the throttle cable and maybe you guys could point me into the direction of the problem...
The thing is that the cable went extremely hard, to the point where it is almos imposible to press down the pedal, and the cable is exposed where the 2 rubber parts connect.
So its time to change the cable, the thing is that this cable that needs to be replace is fairly new, it was installed 6 months ago, and that is equivalent to 3500miles or so, within the last year and this one (less than 9K miles in two years), Ive had to replace the throttle cable 4 times, all times it was replaced with an OEM cable ( also had to replace the clutch cable 5 times within same period of time/use), so I was wondering if you guys did anything to it previous to installing, maybe some special lubricant or anything?
This is getting anoying pretty fast, apart from the cable, theres the PITA of changing it, and the money of taking the car back home...
