i have used a exedy stage 2 clutch and from what i can tell you is it's good for daily driving normal use and a bit of strip use.but this clutch will heat up after the 2nd or 3rd run it will slip like butter on a hot pot.you have to let clutch cool down thatn its good to use again.but i would not recomend this clutch to anyone for racing unless you step up to a race multi disc set up.. the ACT brand does good and hold up daily driving and drag race after drag..it rarely gets hot but when it does get hot it just slips a bit..ive heard from several people that it slips a bit after a couple of hours of hard use but nothing big..1 of the bestif not the best clutch i have used..

Why is this in off-topic? Seems pretty on-topic to me!

ACT sprung 6-puck with ACT Heavy Duty pressure plate is the best clutch I've ever ran. Never slips and has great pedal feel. It is common to break the clutch arm with a heavy duty (more so with the Extreme) so make sure you get the clutch arm reinforced with some nice hard, metal plates (i.e. steel).

I mount mine on the JWT flywheel and I haven't had any issues with it.

Thats my recommendation... I've ran many, many clutches which I have typically replaced once a year... except for with this 6-puck. She is doing beautifully! I'll continue to stick with this clutch as long as it holds the power.

Ive run two setups now

Fidanza flywheel and ACT HDSS clutch which was ok revved up lovely and the pedal was pretty hard, had great bite though could get tiring in stop start traffic.

now running a JWT 9lb flywheel and GSPEC stage 3 clutch. this is the best setup Ive used, revs up very quickly and the pedal feel is only slightly harder than stock with excellent feel.

Ive driven other cars with xtd paddle clutches and they are fairly average, very bitey not alot of feedback from the pedal
