Thread: Clutch cable adjustment

So driving home on Friday night I came to a stop, then realized that I couldn't get the car in gear with the pedal pushed all the way in. Checked the adjustment on the cable and tightened it back up. Car goes into gear fine now, but the clutch doesn't engage until the pedal is almost all the way out.

Did I adjust it too far, or is their another adjustment point I don't know about?

Yes, you adjusted it too far. You made it too "short". To begin with, it was too "long". Now it is too short. Find a spot in the middle. =D

That's what I figured, definitely feels better now though.
