Mt90 or shockproof
Sup everybody have a couple of questions about wat gear oil i should go with was planning on running mt90 but also wondered if i could run the lightweight shockproof without a problem??? I live in chicago and winter is coming up and i dont want to put anything to heAvy in my trans. Any suggestions i just want the best protection for my trans. Thanks in advance for your input.

I have been running Lightweight shock proof in my Track car , and ran it in a customers street car for years ... Never had any issues and shifts much better !!

( Just did it in my dads Xterra 5spd. and man what a difference !! )

I would strongly recommend MT90 in your situation.

Thanks for clearing that up plan on using mt90 any way any other tips for extending the life of my trans

Don't use sticky tires and don't make power and it should last forever. =]

Plan on making power someday but cant afford anything except for bolt ons souldnt be to much power i imagine

N/A or VE = MT90
Turbo or Track Car = MT90 + Heavy shockproof

Seems to be the consensus.

I've been using mt90 in my b14 since 04 with no issues.
