What kind of quarter mile times do you run VIP?

I have not ran a quarter mile since 2005. I ran a 15.4 with my cold air intake and 17* timing.

I want to go down this year before winter. If not, spring time 2011.

The bc stage 2 cams are not as agressive as the c1'cams, on paper they say one thing but in real world testing the c1 are bigger cams. The hp you are making is just about what everyone with bc2 are making, if think my brother made 161-162 whp with a stock Ecu and a afc, ssac header 2-1/2 inch exhaust and a Greg v pulley.'you are where you have to be

I have measured all four lobes of both intake and exhaust cams with my caliper. If I could measure C1's with my caliper, I could actually see the difference.

I am happy where I am at though. Time to get a VE and let my DE ride it out as long as it can now.

Still slightly upset for not knowing about the 25* base idle. I told many that Consult through Nissan Datascan reported 25* at idle. Oh well, learned the hard way and JWT apologized for the mistake.

Anyway, I want a VE.

ohh, sorry. I did not understand what you said first time around.

No, I sincerely doubt it.

You can check if you have a consult cable hooke dup to a notebook PC and using some program, free ones that do exist to show you simple things about your car, can tell you what your ECU base idle ignition timing is set at.

No. Not even 20 deg. I have JWT + S3's in USDM motor in one car, I would have to double check but it's almost certainly 17-18 deg.

My SCC B13 with the JDM 10:1 puts down respectable power for bolt ons, stock cams, and base timing is set at 17 deg.

My JWT C2 cam tuning profiles require 20 deg - and those are some very aggressive cams both lift and duration compared to S3's.

Your program really has the bade idle ignition timing at 20 degrees? Why would my C1 program have it at 25*. Consult confirmed and JWT confirmed it when I gave them the chips program image scan.
