Thread: No idle after EGR blockoff plate installed...

Car wont run right at all. I just installed the 2 plates and plugged up the header and now the thing wont run right at all, wieird jumpy idle.

I tried searching but came up with nothing usefull, there has to be some kind of write up or how to somewhere. Please help me out guys....

Anyway I found the problem. The plate that replaces the egr was not flat, it was kinda tweaked. So when running it wasnt sealing, letting air into the manifold. So I just mounted the egr and egr mount back up ( disconnected still) and idles like normal now. Now I guess I just need to find a good block off plate that's actually level.

Did you see mine? And I don't even own a Viper!!! And maybe I am not even a dude... ZINGG!

Damm I was hoping you'd be driving the Viper if we met up.
