nissan engines tend to run richer than hondas, on stock everything, so increasing the FP is not gonna do any good at that point...

increasing the FP will make you run a bit richer, so if your AFR is say 14.0 at WOT and by increasing FP from 3 bar to 4 bar will allow you to run some 13.5 AFR then you should see an HP increment, but if you running rich and make it richer thats gonna do no good

wouldn't decreasing FP make you run leaner? I must be missing something.

It adds more fuel per pulse with high pressure I'm assuming so therefore more fuel and richer afs.

In the SR20DE N/A game is kinda different, the last time I hooked a wideband to a stockish car the A/F at WOT was around 11.8, you could even gain a few hp leaning it out close to 12.7 or something

You shouldn't really be tuning anything with fuel pressure. If increasing the fuel pressure gives you more peak power, it will also be making other parts of your fuel map too rich, like idle cruise...etc.

If you want to tune the engine get a piggyback or a tunable ecu.

There is speculation that increasing the fuel pressure will cause better atomization due to the fuel leaving the injector at a higher rate of speed. There is no actual proof this helps, just hearsay. Realistically you will not see any gain from this on stock injectors.

because of the stock sr20's super rich maps, was the reason why i added 2-3 gallons of e85 of every tank. it worked, but wasn't by any means safe. gained about 4-5mpg on average too. then again i never threw a code for being too lean.

richer = less hp...no? Why would running more rich make more power unless you were running super lean at the start.

Ding ding ding.

Now what we don't know is if those Honda's were modified. Say on a MAPed car the CAI will make you go lean (more air, same amount of fuel). Thus by increasing the Fuel Pressure, you lower it back down to a better AFR range.

right you cant very well compare how a map vs maf are going to behave. honda mods vs nissan mods are going to vary on the gains.
