No the cable is not tight that is the problem when I tighten it to get the slack out the clutch won't disengage when I press the clutch

So the tb might have popped off the clips causing the arm not to go back all the way. Possibly lol

I had the same problem, turned out that the flywheel stepping was too large when I had it resurfaced. What clutch setup are you running?

I went cheep on eBay since I was spending so much to rebuild the tranny
