I'm using an oil filter housing off of a 2000 or newer RR SR20DE (same thread and filter as the lowport non-rr heads) , just curious if anyone had expierence with a larger filter that would fit and seal to the oil filter housing? Thanks guys

There was someone that posted a link before to another forum that showed someone cutting apart all the different brands. Price doesn't mean it's going to be better either. Like many products, they are mostly made in the same factory they just get put into different boxes and have different labels on the filter themselves. Personally after reading that I typically only use bosch and Napa Gold.
Hopefully someone can find that link because it was an interesting read. I know that when he cut the K&N filter apart it didn't look as nice as the bosch and the K&N is 3-4 times the price
edit: i have my filter relocated so i use a cooler and a much larger than OEM filter also.
