It is indeed part of the head gasket.

thats part of the reason that the pan is warped the oil soaked into the gasket and it expanded(I overtightened it also), there is gray rtv in there now (I found that black is better when it comes to oil)

maybe I can get some rtv to squeeze in there with the assistance of a putty knife, pray for me...jk, there shouldn't be pressure on there so it should hold right?
im guessing as long as I can get the oil off of it.
.
so..... brake cleaner, paint thinner (it takes grease off the shop floor really good), or engine cleaner to get all the oil off?

you're in exactly the same place I was a few years ago. I had a leak there, and messed around with trying to seal it with RTV and not taking the head off or anything. Only thing I accomplished was destroying that side of the head gasket, and I ended up replacing it anyway.

I know a few people have done it successfully, but you've got an equal chance of ruining it entirely as you do of fixing it. It's always worth a shot though, so good luck

Friend of mine glued his cracked tranny with epoxy. It still holds but it is not very comforting. I have no idea about head gaskets but that it quite sucks to replace one.

For the other leaks, if your oil resevoir is also hanging above the crank pulley, check if the lines are sweating, they tend to start leak and show under the car like if the o ring went.

Could it be that the leak you noticed is ''just'' the cap over the chain on the side of the block?

depending on the rtv it may just work.
