98 se-r axles is also non lsd.

Only time ive ever seen more than that leak is if the case is cracked. Might want to check exactly where its leaking from.

BTW when the trannies usually crack they usually crack from the case right at the driver side axle seal and run towards the driver side and then straight back to the shifter shaft going into the back side of the trans. Every one ive seen cracked has done that and runs almost identical on the bottom of the trans in that manner.


youre right there is no way it could leak that much oil from just the seal... unless maybe he is parked on a really steep hill?? lol

the car is not on a hill and it even leaks like that from the driver side when it is jacked up

so 3/4 of the oil leaks out in 5 hours? I don't see how that could be just the seal

you sure the axle is in all the way, I did this one time when dropping my tranny. Axle wasn't seated all the way and it leaked like a sob.
