Tranny wont hold gear oil
I have a 91 NX200 that i just swaped a 10:1cr UK motor in it. It still has an automatic pilot bushing but i have a 96 G20 non lsd Tranny that fits fine. My problem is that the transmission is leaking gear oil from the driver side axle input. I replaces the output shaft seal and used the cup off the g20 axle (that goes into transmission) on my NX axle but it leaks gear oil raidly. (3 quarts in 5 hours) I need some help with this. Thanks

ummmm, are you sure the trans is not cracked? Every single time ive had an axle seal leak it wont leak out more than 1 quart or so before the level of the gear oil is below the seal. The trans only holds just under 4 quarts. Every time ive had it leak it will lose just over a quart worth.

Only time ive ever seen more than that leak is if the case is cracked. Might want to check exactly where its leaking from.

BTW when the trannies usually crack they usually crack from the case right at the driver side axle seal and run towards the driver side and then straight back to the shifter shaft going into the back side of the trans. Every one ive seen cracked has done that and runs almost identical on the bottom of the trans in that manner.

doesnt have to be from an nx. Get a 99 sentra sel axle. I think thats the only option other than to get a p10 non lsd axle and swap the hub end of the axle with your one from the nx.

You can piece one together or just buy an axle for a 99 sentra se-l.

i dont think you need to swap the hub end at all, have you tried this ? im pretty sure the axle is the same besides the 36mm axle nut

If its got a 36mm nut, then the splines are too big that go into the hub because the stock nut size is 32mm.
