Fuel Rail/Injector Insulators
Hey everyone. I'm looking at the FSM and it marks these with an X. So the manual wants replacement on these.

These are just hard plastic spacers correct? Has anybody reused them without replacement?

This is going on a spare engine I have lying around. I'm not even sure if the engine works well. Right now I just want to get it running, so if these insulators can be reused I'd like to do it.

If you have reused the spacers please let me know how it worked out. Thanks.

If you mean the black rubber O-ring type things that hold the injectors in, then yeah, I've always just reused them. I'm not really sure what you're reffering to though.

They are thick O shaped spacers. Not the orings that seal the injectors, the ones I'm talking about are much thicker.

The small ones go between fuel rail and the bolts that hold the rail to the intake manifold. The bigger ones go beneath the individual injectors.

Good to know others are reusing.

I have re-used the spacers you're talking of after replacing the fuel rail.
