Pulsar Gti-R Radiator Fans into B13 Se-R
Hey everyone. I picked up a set of GTi-r radiator fans. My reason for using them is that they seem to allow for more clearance. This is purely just from eyeballing the fan to exhaust manifold heat shield gap. One of these days I'll take some measurements. My thought process was basically that the GTi-R's use these fans with a turbocharger in place. I might go turbo someday so the extra clearance is welcome.

The fans are direct swap. I just plugged them in and they worked no problems.

I'm not sure if people use their stock fans on T25/T28 setups. The fan guards on these units are made of metal. The B13 fan guards are plastic. At least with metal the surrounding temps can be higher before the material starts to melt.

Just wanted to give everyone else a heads up.

What do Spal fans go for? I keep it cheap, lol. Plus I prefer the factory stuff if it can be used.

I think for the really large turbo setups the aftermarket slim fans would still be needed. I've read about GTi-R guys that end up having to get new fans when they upgrade their turbo setups.

I ran my T25 and then my T28 setup on stock fans, no issues, but it was never track (circuit) raced, only 1/4 mile, and lots of highway pulls... if you going to track(circuit) its a nice upgrade since the stock plastic ones tend to melt...
slim fans are real nice and help cool better, but most of us with topmount turbo use them as a necesity since the topmount turbo in nearly al cases wont clear stock fans
