Thread: fitting a small O2 in a big O2 hole

I have bought an e-bay header which seems to have M18 thread for the O2 sensor.

My Nx B13 has M12 thread.

I've tried to find a 'piece of metal' that can be fitted, to go to smaller threading.

However, I don't know how to name it, so I can't Google it.

Could someone show such a thingy or tell me what they name it?

I searched for 02 sensor adapter and found a buncha stuff for it

As far as I remember, B13 o2 is located on the downpipe (same as P10 and N14). What are you trying to do - to use one of the e-bay header holes to screw the o2 in? If so, I don't think that is a good idea.
I found a nut with the same pattern as my o2, made a new hole where o2 usually sits and welded the nut there. I didn't really find appropriate to fit the o2 in any other place. Plus you are using titanium o2 and it is not really a good idea to mess with it by placing it here and there. My opinion tho - good luck with finding the thingy.

I'm indeed using an e-bay header with a P10 sized O2 hole. It has been done before by my friends overhere and they say it works well. What that means, I don't know, maybe just that the car runs and doesn't break down or something

But you are right about creating a proper O2 hole on the same spot. On the other hand, the 90-92 B13 Nx (I've just noticed this on one car) seems to have the O2 closer to the header, mine is in almost on the other side of the downpipe.

So I should start looking for a welder that can weld stainless. That probably won't be easy for me, but I will try.

What is the problem with a titanium O2? Temperature maybe?

I don't think there is any problem with it. I am just following this ====>>>> stock SR20 header (for P10, N14 and B13) is 4-2-1 header. If it has the o2 nut on the downpipe, I don't see any reason to look for another place to put it back on the new one. Even if you screw it into any of the other holes, it won't start working bad or whatever. Just that if it was meant to be there, why should I change it. Otherwise, titanium o2 is just faster than the zirconium one and it reads different voltage, plus it doesn't generate its own voltage.
