Since its stock the person could still using it or its parked somewhere like any normal car and nobody is paying attention to it.

Unlikely. If it were reported stolen, all they would have to do is get pulled over or have an officer run the plate by chance and they would be going to jail.

No more than a minute.

I locked my keys in the car at Luby's. Standing there with my to-go food.

Tow truck driver and wife arrived to eat dinner at just the right moment. I chatted with him and his wifey.

Same deal with the plastic wedges. Swore it would not f*ck up my cherished ride.

$30.00 for him and wifey to have dinner, my treat. One (1) minute later, he handed me my keys.

Drew

That is the only way that worries me.

I really see no way around Professional Thieves. If they are really smart and really determined they can steal any car in sight.

However, your average scumbag should skip right by my innocuous looking little crappy, no stereo, no steering wheel, alarmed, early-90's econobox.

I never thought of debadging as a theft deterrent, it makes sense. I just like the aesthetics and hate a bunch of "busy" stuck-on "advertising" bullsh*t on my vehicles. The less the merrier.

I hate to think that some Professional Scumbags are taking an interest in our lowly, obscure, stealthy 4-wheeled passions. That sucks. I prefer that no one but a dedicated, specified car buff fanatic would ever even take a second glance.

I know the guys in Florida have had similar crime sprees targeted at their SE-R's.

If someone molested my Classic, I'd lose my motherf*cking mind with rage.....

I wouldn't want to be a car thief and try to take Shawn's ride.

I'm with Shawn, absolute schizophrenic fury of the gods would be unleashed if anyone even attempted to steal my babies. Especially the VE. I try to keep her low key so that the situation is less likely to happen and both are garaged at night. I've had kids drive up and stop by my driveway asking me what kind of cars I have since they have not seen any others like them on this side of town. Since I carry most of the time they see the outline of my firearm and keep the questions short & sweet so they can tell their friends these 2 B13s are off limits. Just 3-4 years ago the B13 Sentra was on the top 10 most stolen vehicles in the country. Here by the Mexican border where they still make the Tsuru 4 door B13s still come up missing quite often. Very few are in junkyards if any, especially SE-Rs. Sadly enough certain shady characters know enough about our cars and are crazy enough to steal a few. Wouldn't be surprised if it was a Honda pilot who defected after he got waxed by a few SE-Rs.

I just received a PM with this in the message:
"The most fundamental harm we can do to ourselves is to remain ignorant by not having the courage and the respect to look at ourselves honestly and gently"

It was sent by someone calling themselves "Serendipity".

DO you think this has anything to do with the theft? It would be rather stupid if they did.
