Wow! that is crazy. My wires do the same so I just used pliers to bend them out a hair and now they seat nicely. As for muffler, I use a Thrush 2.25 from Advance Auto for $30 and it sounds really good. Deep tone and no rasp at all.
I doubt any cylinder damage could happen, the pressure was released so I would be very supprised for any deep damage occured. You may want to check your dizzy and possibly the egr return hoses, vaccuum lines etc. I could see a backup or surge popping something loose.

Lol i had this happen in my b-12 sentra. I kept reving the engine because it felt like somethign was stuck in the exhaust all a sudden, and all of a sudden it sounded like a exploision, i was at the jantzen beach super center in the parking lot and i swear people walking outside the stores jumped to the ground lol they were scared shitless. It scared me but i had to laugh lol.

You, are not him. I was speaking to him. If he is interested, he can answer me. I dont understand what is with people on this forum speaking for others. It is getting annoying. I was just trying to be nice, and hook him up with a cheap axle back that i do not have any use for now. I am sorry if i am coming off like a dick, but it is just getting frustrating.
