Thread: Stock p10 Motor Mount Reliability?

plan i throwing my B&m in when i get it....it was brought to my attention..that the stock mounts would break away after time if i put a short shifter in...with bushings?...is this something i shoudl worry about..or should i just not use the bushings and just stay with the ss?...i plan on upping my mount tolerence....since i want to eventually go det, so am i worrying to much?

actually i think the soft motor mounts would tear the solid shifter bushings before the shifter would tear the mount. you will be fine. just don't put the cs solid shifter bracket in without solid motor mounts and you'll be fine.
