FuePump connector does not have voltage . problem fixed
My car suddenly died driving to a car meet.....My fuel gauge shows there is no fuel pressure.(no voltage to the fuel pump). so i checked the fuses under the dash and there good...now im looking for the relay and i can't find it..I thought it was gonna be under the hood where it says "fuel pump relay" next the fan1 and fan2 relays but its not there...

What are the relays next to the fuse box under the dash?

in b13 the fuel relay is suppose to be next to the battery relay box is a green one.

so i swapped the fuel pump relay and still the same thing..i even swapped ecu's and still no voltage ...the only way the fuel pump primes is when i use a jumper wire across the relay. Im stumped ..any other ideas?

check all your grounds in the engine bay. Your ecu may have lost it's ground and that would cause exactly this.

all the grounds are good ..can it be the ignition switch?

And you've tried another ECU? Damn...

When you're jumping across the relay, you're doing that correctly right? If so, then obviously the relay is not getting the signal that the ECU sends. And if you've tried a new ECU then something is likely wrong with the wire between the relay and the ECU.

Trace that wire from the relay to the ECU and make sure the end connections are good and there's continuity between them.

Kind of sounds like a broken wire somewhere with everything you've done. Do an ohm check between the ECU and the relay and the relay to the pump. You should have something very low like .2 ohms. If you're getting like 2k mega ohms then you've got a stretched or corroded wire somewhere. If you just get OL then you've got a broken wire and it's just a matter of finding where. If it is broken you might be better off running a new wire between which ever component you get OL cause it can be a huge PIA to find a broken wire.

Ok as of right now..im waiting on the locksmith to make new keys. It should be done by tomorrow.

The only thing that can be possibly wrong is the hks turbo timer that was installed by the previous owner over 3yrs ago.
